The PALOP national finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup took place on July 30, 2021. Innovalab, the local organizing institution for the national finals, set up the online event that gathered a jury panel composed of ecosystem supporters and representatives, including from UNDP Guinea-Bissau, to evaluate startups from Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé e Príncipe and Cabo Verde.

From Guinea-Bissau, the startup that will represent the country in the Entrepreneurship World Cup event in Saudi Arabia is BueloJobs. BueloJobs was also a finalist during the Hack4SDGs, a Hackathon promoted by UNDP Guinea-Bissau, World Bank, and Innovalab. The startup is focused on digitally building a bridge between Bissau-Guinean youth and local job opportunities.
