As part of the UNDP Country Office’s ongoing efforts in the Digital Transformation arena, on June 22nd, UNDP Guinea-Bissau took part in the onboarding workshop for Digital Advocates. The initiative put forward by the Chief Digital Office aims to create an ecosystem and culture of digital innovation at UNDP as well as establish the organisation as a leader in the area.

Guinea-Bissau’s Digital Advocate, Maria Julia Torres, shared her views on the workshop and the opportunities that Digital Transformation provides not only to the country office, but to Guinea-Bissau: “The Digital Advocates Network will allow us to work with and learn from each other, taking into account each country’s particularities, to make digital transformation a reality within our Country Offices and in our work with national partners.”
