A seminar was organized to strengthen the capacities of 40 technicians assigned to the Internal Accounts Verifiers and External Auditors departments with the objective to train the technicians in financial auditing and numerical statements for the analysis of management accounts, audits and other types of control of the entities under their jurisdiction.
This seminar was conducted within the framework of implementation of the Annual Work Plan - AWP, of the Guinea-Bissau Court of Auditors, of the Program for the Consolidation of Economic Governance and Public Finance Management Systems of Pro-PALOP/TL PHASE II, co-financed by the European Union and implemented by UNDP, from 06-10 April 2021.
The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Court of Auditors, Mr. Dioniso Cabi, the Head of Cooperation of the Union Delegation in Bissau, Mrs. Simona Schlede, and the Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP in Guinea Bissau, Mr. José Levy.
