The Country Office has continued to pursue a digital transformation pathway not just internally but also externally. In the past month, colleagues from the Digital Transformation Working Group, the ICT Unit, the PMSU and the Accelerator Lab have begun drafting a proposal for a digital office, including aspects of a digital M&E process.
The Digital Transformation Working Group has also met with colleagues from UNDP Senegal and its Accelerator Lab to better understand their digital work and initiatives and strengthen the relations between the two teams as well as identify possible synergy points.
Finally, UNDP Guinea-Bissau is planning for the month of October a Digital Transformation Week. It will be an opportunity to showcase what is being done in terms of digital in the country as well as raise awareness and spread knowledge across the society on what digital transformation means and the opportunities it presents.
